Hello Folks,

I'm sad to report that I'm off the trail.

Right now I am writing this in Illinois from my brothers house.

I am on my way back home, by rental car, and expect to be there in about a 
week.

I will write another report which contains most of anything I want to say.

I reached the decision about 3:00 am on Thursday morning, and by
3:30 pm I was renting a car at the Manchester Airport.

There are many ways to express what happened. Sufficient to say it was
about:

     60% mental
     40% physical.

Thru-hikers have expressed it as having "lost the will to walk"

Will I finish it. Never say "never" but:

     The trail changed
     I changed
     I lost "the will to walk"
